Whether you’re a local or find yourself in Darwin for a business deal or two, we’ve scouted the top spots in the Top End so you can impress big time.

If you want a …

Quick coffee meeting

Laneway Specialty Coffee
Really good coffee (and scrumptious brekky options) and a buzzing atmosphere, Laneway’s got the right energy to make your meeting a success.

The Trader
The Trader, operating in an industrial area of Darwin, has had the crowds flocking since the day the doors first opened. Having a strong appreciation for her tradie clientele, owner Pippa Ainsworth also opened The Trader Coffee Canteen pop-up van further down the road. Don't miss the Nutella doughnuts!

Alley Cats Patisserie
A favourite with the locals, head to Alley Cats Patisserie for that informal coffee … and cake! With everything made on site, you’re sure to find a little treat to sweeten the (business) deal.

Long business lunch

PM Eat & Drink
This popular Darwin Tapas Bar serves delicious food designed for sharing – you’ll be best business friends in no time! Fresh local NT produce cooked simply but beautifully, served by friendly staff – winner.

Wharf One
Wharf One Food & Wine specialises in wood grill cooking and seasonal local produce. It’s the perfect spot for some serious networking and some seriously stunning views.

Chow
For a lunch that’s not too serious, head to Chow. South-east Asian tastes are on show here, all served with a dose of light-hearted Territory irreverence and fun.

Wine-and-dine dinner

Char
Char is renowned as a place to impress, with its innovative cuisine, exceptional service, charming gardens and beautiful surrounds in Heritage-listed Admiralty House. They’ll be signing on the dotted line in no time!

EVOO
If you really want to indulge some important people, head to EVOO for their delectable degustation menu and stunning sweeping views of Darwin and the Arafura Sea. You’ll be sure to leave a lasting impression.

The Pearl
For a taste of Paris in the Top End, you can't go past The Pearl. Owner Elle Kearns has introduced a modern French vibe to Darwin, and it’s been welcomed with open arms. An elegant gem in the Vic Arcade, this café is a multi-award winner, most recently taking out the Best Informal Dining Gold Plate Award for a second year in a row, along with the Gold Plate Award for the Best Standalone Restaurant.
